Lessons learned

Parenting Lessons Learned
1. Always, always, always have a burp cloth with you, EVERYWHERE
2. Don't skimp on diapers, unless you want to be scrubbing poo stains out of baby clothes and changing wet outfits every few hours
3. Learn to let things go, like a not always clean kitchen.
4. Have fun

After a month and two days, these are the lessons I've learned.

In honor of Owen's one month birthday (two days ago), as well as his becoming the proud owner of a belly button, we have some tub pictures for you.

As you can see, he really likes to stick out his tongue. A lot.

He also really likes his hands in his face.

Here we have some perspective as to relative sizes. :)

Post-tub. Clean and happy.

And all dressed.
I was once told I'd make a good pig for Halloween. I think Owen takes after me in that regard.

  4. I don't get the pig comment, neither one of you qualifies, only he bad photographer. I like your lessons learned too. You are a pretty fast learner and didn't have to be blasted by some undesirable substance to figure it out. A clean outfit is also a great thing to have along to if you are away from home for any length of time, sometimes for you and for the baby. I love you guys and I am proud of you for your smooth adjustment to parenthood. See you soon.

  6. Ok... I just typed a comment... and then I realized that I had an error in it... and it was silly, but I didn't want it up there. We college grads have to keep up our reputations.
    Anyway... on that note,
What ARE you being for Halloween? I think you should be a pig.
Oh man, that was a beautiful day.
Kind of like this day because I got to see these beautiful pictures.
I love you all tons, I will have to come visit again soon! :D
